Email Greg Scott has emerged as favourite to take over from Des O'Connor as host of Channel 4's countdown. Stan James has Greg at 5/2 followed by Michael Aspel and Tom O'Connor both at 5/1. Other names mentioned include Gyles Brandreth, Terry Wogan and Paul O'Grady. InteractiveTelly.com think that Greg Scott is the only person who could assure a great future for Countdown.
